The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has officially released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Primary Teachers (PRT) in various Army Public Schools (APS) across India. This recruitment aims to fill teaching positions on a regular or contractual basis in CBSE-affiliated schools managed by the Army. The online registration process has started from 5th June 2025 and will continue until 16th August 2025. 📢 Overview of AWES Recruitment 2025
This recruitment drive is conducted for the Online Screening Test (OST) for teachers to be appointed in 136 Army Public Schools located in cantonments and military stations across India. These schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and are affiliated with the CBSE.
📚 Educational Qualifications Required
B.E. or B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent Degree or Diploma

M.Sc. (Computer Science) / MCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA + Postgraduate Degree

B.E. or B.Tech in any stream with a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science
All qualifications must be from recognized universities/institutions and approved by the Government of India or relevant authorities.

Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms. Proper documentation must be submitted during verification.

💼 Scope of Posting
Candidates who qualify and are selected through the interview and evaluation process can be appointed to any Army Public School located across India. Job offers are subject to the availability of vacancies and successful document verification.
🗂️ AWES OST Score Card
Candidates who qualify the OST will be issued a Score Card with lifetime validity. This score card will allow them to apply directly to Army Public Schools whenever vacancies are advertised at the school level. It eliminates the need to reappear for OST every year unless the candidate fails to get appointed within three years of qualifying.
